Review Logan County 72-Hour Releases

A Logan County 72 hour release list would normally provide a three-day view of people who left the jail, but the county does not publish that type of rolling feed. Finding Logan County inmates released in the last 72 hours instead requires a defined date range and several official sources. The wider window helps catch events that crossed a weekend or involved slower record updates. It also creates more chances to confuse a local departure with a state report, transfer, or continuing hold. Each result should be tied to the right person, date, facility, and custody system.

Logan County 72-Hour Feed Gap

The official Logan County detention page offers a link labeled “Current Inmates.” The county sitemap does not expose a recent-release category, a 72-hour list, or a published post-release archive. No verified county feed fields, update cycle, or retention window were located. The live roster therefore cannot be filtered backward to recreate three days of departures.

A three-day review must be assembled from actual event sources. Logan VINE can report a custody event. A jail release sheet can document local processing. A court file can show the legal authority. KDOC publishes one release report for each date, but those reports cover the state correctional population rather than all Logan County detainees.

Important: Three days of roster absences do not form a release list. A transfer, detainer, data change, or another custodian can also remove a name.

Build a Logan Three-Day Release Check

Fix the date range before searching. Write down the start and end dates, including the year, and decide whether the question concerns a local jail detainee or a KDOC prisoner. A period described only as “the last three days” can shift while records are being checked. Calendar dates make the jail request and state-report review reproducible.

  1. Check the current Logan roster and record the exact check time, using it only for current listing or absence.
  2. Search Kentucky VINE for the person and preserve any displayed event date or prior alert.
  3. Ask Logan County Detention Center for the booking sheet and final release entry within the stated three-date range.
  4. Review the court case for an order, bond action, dismissal, sentence, probation, or other disposition.
  5. For a KDOC-classified person, open each of the three dated Daily Releases PDFs and then compare KOOL.

Match records by a system-specific number whenever possible. A booking identifier, court case number, DOC or PID number, and date of birth carry more weight than a similar name. Keep the source label attached to each date. A court order date, VINE event date, and jail processing time answer different questions.

Note: The Released Last 24 Hours path is narrower when the event is believed to have happened today.

Three KDOC Daily Release Reports

The Kentucky Department of Corrections Daily Releases archive is the clearest date-based public source for state prisoners. It is not a Logan County rolling feed. For a 72-hour check, open three separate reports, search each by surname or DOC number, and record the exact type of release and releasing facility.

The official archive screen shows the reports arranged by date and prior year.

Each state report can show DOC number, name, type, released from, and felony class. “Released From” identifies the state institution or contracted county facility that recorded the event. It does not always say where the person went. A Logan County facility match is strong evidence of the releasing place, but it still must be read with the release type.

After finding a report, open KOOL and note current location or supervision. KDOC says KOOL updates daily and warns that information within 120 days may not be finalized. Preserve any conflict instead of silently choosing one source. A dated release report is historical event evidence, while KOOL is the state’s currently displayed profile.

Read Logan Release Results Correctly

No county online field table exists because no Logan 72-hour feed was found. The durable local route is a request for the booking record and final release or discharge entry. Ask for existing fields, not a custom explanation. The records custodian may provide only what is maintained and releasable.

Record detailQuestion it answers
Person and booking numberIs this the correct Logan booking?
Release date and timeWhen did the facility record departure?
Release type or authorityWas the event bond, time served, supervision, transfer, or another recorded type?
Released fromWhich facility recorded the event?
Destination or custodianDid another agency receive the person, if recorded?
Case numberWhich court file may contain the controlling order?

A roster’s bond, charge, or court-date details describe the current booking view, not a historical release event. Likewise, a bond order does not prove payment or completed departure. The jail entry is needed for physical processing, while the signed court record explains the legal basis.

Weekend Logan County Release Review

A 72-hour window is useful when a search spans a weekend, but Logan County publishes no special weekend release list. Define each calendar day and use the same source chain. VINE may offer the fastest reported event. The jail’s existing final entry is the local documentary path. The court file may update on its own schedule and should not be treated as a live movement log.

Logan’s bond page gives practical context. Bonds are handled at the courthouse from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The official bond instructions say cash and surety bonds may be paid at the jail when court is closed, and cash must be exact. The county states that people bonding out pay a $50 booking fee. Those rules help explain a possible weekend process but do not prove any named person was released.

If the date range includes a holiday, do not invent a delay or assume office closure beyond what an official source states. Record when each portal and office was checked. If the result is still unclear, request the final entry for the fixed range.

Why Logan Has No 72-Hour List

Logan’s web product is expressly a current-inmate roster. Its sitemap exposes no released-person category, and the county does not publish a time after release during which a booking remains visible. This is not evidence that release records do not exist. It means the public web view is not a recent-release archive.

KDOC’s date-by-date reports fill only part of that gap. They can capture KDOC-classified prisoners released from a state institution or a contracted county-jail bed. They do not include every local bond, dismissal, or time-served departure. A three-report state search with no match therefore cannot disprove a Logan County jail release.

No verified Logan County, Kentucky sheriff or jailer mobile roster app was found. VINELink has a mobile app, but it is a statewide search and notification service rather than a county 72-hour list. Do not substitute an app from another Logan County in a different state.

Classify Logan Release Status

A multi-day check should end with a status that the source actually supports. “Left Logan custody” is safer than “went free” when the destination is unknown. Transfer means the person remained in custody elsewhere. A detainer is a hold for another authority. Parole and mandatory reentry supervision involve release from confinement under conditions, while probation comes from a court-supervised sentence.

Local community release
A Logan release entry and related court or VINE event support departure without a recorded transfer, subject to any other known hold.
State supervised release
A KDOC release report and KOOL supervision location indicate release from confinement with continuing state conditions.
Transfer
The person left Logan County Detention Center but moved to another custodian.
Final discharge
The source records completion of the identified custody or sentence status, though a separate hold must still be checked.

For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP locator. For suspected immigration custody, use ICE’s current-custody locator. Neither source creates a historical Logan County release list. A federal release result may also be followed by supervision or another agency’s custody.

Request Logan Three-Day Release Records

Address a local request to the Logan County Jailer or records custodian at Logan County Detention Center, 304 W Third St, Russellville, KY 42276, telephone 270-726-3696. State the three calendar dates and the person’s full name. Add a date of birth, booking range, or case number when known. Ask for electronic copies of the booking sheet and final release or discharge entry.

The request should seek the recorded release date and time, exact type or authority, and destination or receiving custodian if those fields exist. It should not presume that the person returned to the community. Asking for existing records avoids requiring the office to create a new account of what happened.

If a sheriff’s records channel responds that jailer records are held elsewhere, redirect the request to the jailer rather than treating the answer as proof that no record exists. For a KDOC event, cite the dated Daily Releases report and request only the additional existing state record needed. Keep the response with the search dates so the three-day conclusion can be reviewed later.
